MTZ to export tractors to Argentina

The tractors of Minsk Tractor Works (the MTZ trademark) will be supplied to Argentina, BelTA has learnt from the Belarusian Embassy in Argentina.

Gomselmash office in Argentina will promote and sell MTZ products in line with the agreement signed between these enterprises. MTZ representatives are to visit Argentina to study the possibility to set up deliveries of tractors Belarus in H1 2009.

Argentinean market is of great interest for the Belarusian exporters. Highly developed agricultural industry in Argentina brings about a steady demand for agricultural machinery. Complementarity of economies of the two countries is a favorable factor for the bilateral economic cooperation.

There is also a potential demand for the Belarusian machine-building and chemical products. Argentinean businessmen are interested in the development of trade and economic cooperation, in particular in launching fish, seafood, wine, fruits deliveries to Belarus.
