EurAsEC Interparliamentary Assembly to discuss consequences of global economic crisis
The joint actions of the EurAsEC member states in overcoming the consequences of the global economic crisis will be considered by participants of a plenary session and a session of the Bureau of the EurAsEC Interparliamentary Assembly which will be held in St. Petersburg on May 13, BelTA learnt in the Council of the Republic of the Belarusian National Assembly.
According to experts, the recommendations aimed at setting up the relative anti-crisis legal base may become a significant contribution to the fight against the crisis.
The EurAsEC sessions are expected to adopt a number of the laws which will help the EurAsEC member countries intensify integration processes. For instance, it concerns the development of law “On alternative energy”.
The sides will also discuss the problem concerning the labour migration. The EurAsEC Interparliamentary Assembly is expected to adopt the law on labour migration which will provide the citizens of the EurAsEC countries with the equal guarantees in social-labour area including the guarantees for employment, labour and social protection.
