Mogilevliftmash launches production of elevators for disabled people

Mogilevliftmash has launched production of passenger elevators for disabled people, BelTA learnt from the company’s marketing department.

The novelties have been designed for installation in dwelling houses and administrative buildings. Elevators are suitable for imported and home-made wheelchairs.

The company produced the first six elevators that have already been installed in Belarus and Russia. “We hope that the demand for such elevators will grow in Belarus and Russia, the major importer of Mogilevliftmash products, due to the social programmes targeting the disabled people in the two countries,” the experts said.

Mogilevliftmash, the CIS leading producer of elevators and elevator equipment, specializes on designing and manufacturing a wide range of passenger (400 to 1000 kilos), freight (100 to 6300 kilos), hospital and non-standard elevators. The company offers a complete range of elevator equipment for new construction and also for repair, replacement and modification of old elevators.

The company’s certified quality management system for designing, manufacturing and maintaining passenger and freight elevators meets the STB ISO 9001-2001 requirements in the national certification system and DIN EN ISO 9001-2000 in the German TGA accreditation system.

Founded in 1967, the company was reincorporated into the republican unitary enterprise in 2000. The company employs over 4000 professionals. In Q1 2009, the industrial growth made up 8.4% in comparable prices from the same period in 2008.
